Being afraid on seeing this world to be evanescent, he made a heap of merit, and for his won and other people's welfare, having established, of stone, 14 five chief's Âdikartris 16 (Tirthankaras) in the path of the ascetic Arhats, he set up this fame-conveying stone-pillar, which is beautiful and like the summit of chief of mountains.
