Editorial
The present volume consists of nine āgamas :- 1. Pappavanā, 2. Jambuddivapannatti, 3. Candapannatti, 4. Sūrapannatti, 5. Nirayāyaliyão, 6. Kappavadim. siyão. 7. Pupphiyao, 8. Pupphacūliyão, and 9. Vanhidasão.
The upäřgas are twelve in number. Three upāngas have already been included in the 'Uvangasuttăņi', Part 4, Volume 1. The original text of the remaining nine upangas, with variant readings, has been incorporated in the present volume. "The word index of Angasuttani has already been published as a separate book (Agama śabda-kośa). To provide convenience to readers as well as the research scholars a joint word index of the above-mentioned nine āgamas is appended in this volume.
With the publication of this volume, the publication work of all the 32 canons is now over. This Agama-sūtra series at present contains seven volumes as under :-- 1. Angasutiāni, Part I:

valiyão, Kappavadimsiyão, Pupphiyão, Pupphacūliyão, Vanhidasão. 6. Nayasuttăni, Part V:
Avassayam, Dasaveāliyam, Uttarajjhayaņāņi, Nandi, Aņuogadārāim,
Dasão, Kappo, Vavahāro, Nisihajjhayanam. 7. Agama Sabda Kosa (Angasuttāņi Sabdasüci).
Under this series of original texts, the work of editing the other canons too is in progress. They are likely to contain prakirnaka, niryukti and bhâsya.
