सातवां उद्देशक अन्य-गण से आई साध्वी के रखने में परस्पर पच्छा 1. जे निग्गंथा य निग्गंथीओ य संभोइया सिया, नो कप्पइ निग्गंथीणं निग्गंथे अणापुच्छित्ता निग्गथि अन्नगणाओ प्रागयं खुयायारं जाव संकिलिट्ठायारं तस्स ठाणस्स अणालोयावेत्ता जाव अहारिहं पायच्छित्तं अपडिवज्जावेत्ता पुच्छित्तए वा, वाएत्तए था, उवट्ठावेत्तए वा, संभु जित्तए था, संवसित्तए वा, तीसे इत्तरियं दिसं वा, अणुदिसं वा उद्दिसित्तए वा धारेत्तए वा। 2. कप्पइ निग्गंथाणं निग्गंथीओ आपुच्छित्ता वा, प्रणापुच्छित्ता वा, निग्गंथीं अन्नगणाओ प्रागयं खुयायारं जाव संकिलिढायारं तस्स ठाणस्स आलोयावेत्ता जाव पायच्छित्तं पडिवज्जावेत्ता पुच्छित्तए वा, वाएत्तए वा, उवट्ठावेत्तए वा, संभु जित्तए वा, संवसित्तए वा, तीसे इत्तरियं दिसं वा, अणुदिसं वा उद्दिसित्तए वा धारेत्तए वा तं च निग्गंथीओ नो इच्छेज्जा, सयमेव नियं ठाणे / 1. जो निर्ग्रन्थ-निर्गन्थियां साम्भोगिक हैं और यदि किसी निम्रन्थ के समीप कोई अन्य गण से खण्डित यावत् संक्लिष्ट प्राचार वाली निर्ग्रन्थी पाए तो निर्ग्रन्थ को पूछे बिना और उसके पूर्वसेवित दोष की आलोचना यावत् दोषानुरूप प्रायश्चित्त स्वीकार कराये बिना उससे प्रश्न पूछना, उसे वाचना देना, चारित्र में पुनः उपस्थापित करना, उसके साथ बैठकर भोजन करना और साथ में रखना नहीं कल्पता है तथा उसे अल्पकाल के लिए दिशा या अनुदिशा का निर्देश करना या धारण करना भी नहीं कल्पता है। 2. निर्ग्रन्थ के समीप यदि कोई अन्य गण से खण्डित यावत् संक्लिष्ट आचार वाली निर्ग्रन्थी आए तो निर्ग्रन्थियों को पूछकर या बिना पूछे भी सेवित दोष की आलोचना यावत् दोषानुरूप प्रायश्चित्त स्वीकार कराके उससे प्रश्न पूछना, उसे वाचना देना, चारित्र में पुनः उपस्थापित करना, उसके साथ बैठकर भोजन करने की और साथ रखने की आज्ञा देना कल्पता है तथा उसे अल्पकाल की दिशा या अनुदिशा का निर्देश करना या धारण करना कल्पता है, किन्तु यदि निर्ग्रन्थियां उसे न रखना चाहें तो उसे चाहिए कि वह पुनः अपने गण में चली जाए / विवेचन–पूर्व उद्देशक में खण्डित प्राचार वाले निर्ग्रन्थ-निर्ग्रन्थी के अन्य गण से आने पर उसके आलोचना प्रायश्चित्त करने का विधान किया गया है और प्रस्तुत सूत्रद्वय में केवल साध्वी के आने पर साम्भोगिक श्रमण या श्रमणी को पूछने सम्बन्धी विधान किया गया है। यदि निर्ग्रन्थी के पास ऐसी साध्वी आवे तो वह अपने साम्भोगिक साधुओं को अर्थात् प्राचार्यउपाध्याय आदि को पूछकर, उनकी आज्ञा होने पर ही उस साध्वी को रख सकती है, उसे वाचना देना-लेना कर सकती है, उपस्थापित कर सकती है अथवा उसके साथ आहार या साथ में बैठना आदि व्यवहार कर सकती है। किन्तु पूछे बिना, सलाह लिए बिना ऐसी साध्वी के साथ उक्त कार्य करना
