[१५१ इस उद्देशक के ५२ सूत्रों का दो विभागों में संग्रह न करके मात्र संक्षिप्त निर्देश ही कर देना पर्याप्त है।
सूत्र नं. २३ के विषय काव्यवहार सूत्र के आठवें उद्देशक में तथा सूत्र ३६ व ३८ के विषयों का प्राचारांग श्रु० २ अ० २ उ० १ में विधान हुआ है, इस उद्देशक के शेष सभी विषय अन्य आगम में नहीं आये हैं, किन्तु विधि-निषेध की स्पष्ट सूचना करते हुए प्रायश्चित्त का विधान करने वाले हैं। यह इस उद्देशक की पूर्व के उद्देशकों से विशेषता है।
१. इस उद्देशक के ३ सूत्रों के विषय का कथन अन्य आगमों में है यथा--सूत्र-२३, ३६, ३८ । २. इस उद्देशक के शेष ४९ सूत्रों के विषय का कथन अन्य आगमों में नहीं है।
