श्री जिनागम ग्रन्थमाला के 29वें ग्रन्थाङ्क का तृतीत संस्करण आगमप्रेमी पाठकों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत है। इसमें सूर्यप्रज्ञप्ति और चन्द्रप्रज्ञप्ति दो आगमों का समावेश किया गया है। दोनों का एक साथ मुद्रण कराने का हेतु क्या है, इस विषय में आगम-अनुपयोग-प्रवर्तक मुनि श्री कन्हैयालालजी म. 'कमल' ने अपने सम्पादकीय में विस्तृत चर्चा की है, अतएव यहां दोहराने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
प्रस्तुत दोनों आगम मूल पाठ एवं परिशिष्ट आदि के साथ ही प्रकाशित किये जा रहे हैं। अर्थ-विवेचन आदि नहीं दिये गये हैं । इसका कारण यह है कि इनमें आये कतिपय पाठों और उनके अर्थ में मतैक्य नहीं हो सका है। इसके अतिरिक्त इनका विषय ज्योतिष है जो सर्वसाधारण के लिये दुरूह है। इस विषय की चर्चा भी सम्पादकीय में की गई है।
प्रस्तुत प्रकाशन के अनेक आगम कॉलेजों और विश्वविद्यालयों के पाठ्यक्रम में निर्धारित किये गये हैं। अतएव यह आवश्यक समझा गया कि इनकी उपलब्धि निरंतर बनी रहे। इस कारण समस्त आगमों में जिनकी प्रतियां समाप्त हो रही हैं, उनके द्वितीय, तृतीय, चतुर्थ संस्करण प्रकाशित करा दिये गये हैं।
- संतोष का विषय है कि ग्रन्थमाला के इन प्रकाशनों का समाज एवं विद्वद्वर्ग ने पर्याप्त आदर किया है। आशा है भविष्य में इनका और अधिक प्रचार-प्रसार होगा और श्री आगम प्रकाशन समिति का प्रयास अधिक सफल और सुफलप्रदायक सिद्ध होगा।
अन्त में आगम-अनुपयोग के विशाल कार्य में व्यस्त होते हुए भी मुनिश्री कन्हैयालालजी म. 'कमल' ने मूलपाठ का सम्पादन कर व डाक्टर श्री रुद्रदेवजी त्रिपाठी ने महत्त्वपूर्ण प्रस्तावना लिखकर जो सहयोग प्रदान किया उसके लिये आदरपूर्वक आभार मानते हैं। साथ ही स्व. पं. शोभाचन्द्रजी भारिल्ल ने इसका आद्योपान्त अवलोकन किया एवं सहयोगी कार्यकत्ताओं से सहयोग प्राप्त हुआ तदर्थ उनके भी हम आभारी हैं।
