नो थारट्ठईया गइरइया गइसमावण्णा ।
उड्ढामुह-कलंबु अपुप्फसंठाणसंठिएहिं जोयणसाहस्सिएहिं तावक्खेत्तेहिं साहस्सिएहिं बाहिराहि य वेडव्वियाहिं परिसाहिं महयाहयणट्टगीयवाइय-तंती तल-ताल-तुडिय- घणमुइंग-पडुप्पवाइयरवेणं, महया उक्किट्ठ सीहणादबोलकलकलरवेणं, अच्छं पव्वयरायं पयाहिणावत्तमंडलचारं मेरुं अणुपरियट्ठेति । पुव्वइंदस्स चवणाणंतरं अण्णइंदस्स उववज्जणं
पं. ता तेंसि णं देवाणं जाहे इंदे चयइ से कयमिदाणिं पकरेइ ?
उ. ता चत्तारि पंच सामाणिया देवा तं ठाणं उवसंपज्जित्ताणं विहरंति जाव अण्णे इत्थ इंदे उववण्णे भवइ ।
प. ता इंदठाणे णं केवइएणं कालेणं विहरियं पण्णत्तं ?
उ. ता जहण्णेणं इक्कं समयं उक्कोसेणं छम्मासे ।
माणुसखेत्तस्स बहियाजोइसियाणंउड्ढोववण्णगाइपरूवणं -
प. ता बहिया णं माणुरसखेत्तस्स जे चंदिमसूरिया गहगण - णक्खत्त-तारारूवा ते णं देवा किं उड्ढोववण्णगा, कप्पोववण्णगा, विमाणोववण्णगा, चारोववण्णगा, चारड़िया, गइरईया गइसमावण्णगा ?
उ. ता ते णं देवा नो उड्ढोववण्णगा, नो कप्पोववण्णगा, विमाणोववण्णगा, नो चारोववण्णंगा, चारद्विइया नो गइरइया, नो गइसमावण्णा ।
पगिट्ठगसंठाणसंठिएहिं जोयणसयसाहस्सिएहिं तावक्खेत्तेहिं सयसाहस्सिएहिं बाहिराहिं वेउव्वियाहिं परिसाहिं महयाहय-णट्ट-गीय - वाइय-तंती तल-ताल-तुडिय - घणमुइंग-पडुप्पवाइयरवेणं, महया उक्किट्ठ सीहणाद- बोलकलकलरवेणं, दिव्वाइं भोगभोगाई भुंजमाणे विहरड़ ।
सुहलेसा मंदलेसा मंदायवलेसा, चित्तंतरलेसा, अण्णऽण्ण सभोगाढाहिं लेसाहिं कूडा इव ठाणठिया ते पदेसे सव्वओ समंता ओभासंति उज्जोवेंति तवेंति पभासेंति ।
प. ता तेंसि णं देवाणं जाहे इंदे चयइ, से कहमिदाणिं पकरेइ ?
उ. ता चत्तारि पंच सामाणिया देवा तं ठाणं उवसंपजित्ताणं विहरंति, जाव अण्णे इत्थ इंदे उववण्णे भवइ ।
प. ता इंदठाणे णं केवइएणं कालेणं विरहियं पण्णत्ते ।
उ. ता जहण्णेणं एक्कं समयं, उक्कोसेणं छम्मासे ।
