printed text of the Nyāyamanjarı is corrupt. This commentary yields important correct readings. This will be clear from the following table wherein we have compared the readings yeilded by the commentary with those yielded by the printed text. In this table we notice that there are some granthis which are missing in the printed text of the Nyāyamañjari. This means that in the printed text some passages of the text of the Nyāyamanjarī are missing. This is even corroborated by the fact that seven karikas quoted from the Nyayamanjari in the Syadvadaratnakara (pp. 62-64) are not there in the printed text of the Nyāyamañjari.
