________________ परपं] गोगो 89 Those adepts in Yoga say that the goodminded one who has attained to this stage, syinpathises with the distressed and takes to right line of action... The acquisition of the association of the good, which is the shower of rain in removing the heat of misunderstanding and a sharp axe in cutting the tree of bad conduct, becomes helpful, in this stage, to spiritual elevation. 91 The fortunate one attains to this stage when the last paravarta time at the most remains, the internal impurity being lessened. If the internal impurity is dense, it is impossible for one to attain to right discrimination. 92 This Drishti of above-mentioned virtues is attained to in the last Yathāpravrittikarana stage, by him who is nearing the cutting of thie Karmic knot. The wise say that he is metaphorically said to have reached the Apurvalarana stage, because it immediately follows the Yathāpravritti Karana stage.
