उत्तर २६-गोयमा ! दुविहे पच्चक्खाणे पण्णत्ते तं जहा-मूलगुणपच्चक्खाणे य उत्तरगुणपच्चक्खाणे य । ___A. 26. Gautama ! Two types, viz., of roots and of branches, mulaguna and uttaraguna.
प्रश्न २७-मूलगुणपच्चक्खाणे णं भंते ! कइविहे पण्णते ?
Q. 27. Bhante ! How many are the types of mulaguna renunciation ?
उत्तर २७-गोयमा ! दुविहे पण्णत्ते तं जहा-सव्वमूलगुणपच्चक्खाणे य देशमूलगुणपच्चक्खाणे य ।
A. 27. Gautama ! Two types, viz., of the whole (sarva) and of the part (deśa).
प्रश्न २८-सव्वमूलगुणपच्चक्खाणे णं भंते ! कइविहे पण्णत्ते ?
. Q. 28. Bhante ! Haw many are the types of sarvamūlaguņa renunciation ?
उत्तर २८-गोयमा ! पंचविहे पण्णत्ते तं जहा-सव्वाओ पाणाइवायाओ वेरमणं जाव...सव्वाओ परिग्गहाओ वेरमणं।
. A. 28. Gautama ! Five types, viz., to desist from all forms of violence, till to desist from all forms of accumulation.
प्रश्न २९-देसमूलगुणपच्चक्खाणे णं भंते ! कइविहे पण्णते ?
Q. 29. Bhante ! How many are the types of desamülaguņa renunciation ?
उत्तर २९-गोयमा ! पंचविहे पण्णत्ते तं जहा-थूलाओ पाणाइवायाओ वेरमणं जाव...थूलाओ परिग्गहाओ वेरमणं ।
A. 29. Gautama ! Five types, viz., to desist in general from violence, till to desist in general from accumulation.
