knowledge, and three of non-knowledge, like the infernal beings,, and like this, till the Stanitkumāras. Earth bodies are like those with one organ of sense, and like this, till those with four organs of sense (see 103).
प्रश्न ११२-पज्जत्ता गं भंते ! पंचिंदियतिरिक्खजोणिया किं पाणी अण्णाणी?
Q. 112. Bhante ! Are the five-organ animals with full attainments endowed with knowledge, or with non-knowledge ?
उत्तर ११२-तिणि गाणा तिणि आण्णाणा भयणाए। मणुस्सा जहा सकाइया। वाणमंतरजोइसियवेमाणिया जहा णेरइया ।
A. 112. Gautama ! They have upto three types of knowledge, and upto three types of non-knowledge. Human beings are like those with a body (see 105). The Vāņa-vyantaras. Jyotiskas and Vaimānikas are like the infernal beings (see 92).
प्रश्न ११३-अपज्जत्ता णं भंते ! जीवा किं णाणी अण्णाणी?
Q. 113. Are those who are without full attainments endowed with knowledge, or with non-knowledge ?
उत्तर ११३-तिण्णि णाणा तिणि अण्णाणा भयणाए।
A. 113. They have upto three types of knowledge and upto three types of non-knowledge.
प्रश्न ११४-अपज्जत्ता णं भंते ! रइया किं णाणी अण्णाणी ?
Q. 114. Bhante ! Are the infernal beings without full attainments endowed with knowledge, or with non-knowledge ?
उत्तर ११४-तिणि गाणा णियमा तिणि अण्णाणा भयणाए। एवं जाव...थणियकुमारा। पुढविक्काइया जाव...वणस्सइकाइया जहा एगिंदिया।
