All the religious ceremonies and scriptural studies should be carried out with only one aim. This aim is to remain in union with the divine and forget the mundane world. If this pursuit is followed scrupulously, one will automatically follow the path of truth and the same is disclosed to him by the Divine. If this aim is lost sight of, all the so-called spirtiual practices like muttering, austerity, charity and even the yoga and meditation will fall flat in accomplishing the task of emancipation.
