evidence of the soul's existence. To doubt such existence amounts to saying, "I do not exist". But unless one exists, how can he doubt? In the end the Guru states to the pupil, "By doubting the existence of the soul, you are doubting your own existence. Can there be anything more amazingly ironic than that?"
